Use and liability notice
Guidance, not design approval
The calculators support preliminary sizing, plausibility checks and education. Results do not replace complete engineering design, drawing review, risk assessment, responsible professional approval or case-specific verification.
Inputs and scope
Users must verify units, load cases, material properties, safety factors, boundary conditions, standard editions and displayed validity limits. Manufacturing, scatter, temperature, wear, fatigue, corrosion, assembly and regulatory requirements may require additional verification.
References to standards
Standard designations identify the technical basis or guidance. The platform does not publish standard texts and does not replace access to the applicable original standard. Edition, corrigenda, national annexes and applicability must be checked separately.
Safety-critical use
Do not use results without independent review for safety-critical components, protection of persons, medical, aerospace, automotive, pressure-equipment or similarly regulated applications.
Use at your own responsibility
Results are used at the user’s own responsibility and risk. Before technical, manufacturing or other practical use, a qualified person must review the inputs, assumptions, units and results. This wording does not exclude liability where applicable law makes it mandatory.
No warranty for results or availability
Content and calculation results are provided without any assurance of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability of the service. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
